Here are some pics, this is Lincoln's first experience with playing in a pool! He went nuts!Checking it out....hmmmm?

King Me!

For Fathers Day I ask Jordan what he wanted and he said "To be waited on hand and foot" so I laughed and said "like everyday?" and then he laughed, and then after a good 10 mins of banter that would put Regis and Kelly to shame, I later came up with this idea........... KING FOR THE DAY. So after Jordan woke up at the crack of noon (he works nights now) Lincoln and I crowned him
KING OF THE DAY. We gave him a crown, a septor, and a bell to ring if needed anything. He could sit in his "thown" all day and drink Dew.
We gave him a day of all his favorites. His favorite breakfast, donuts and chocolate milk. A basket with favorite snacks, a gift card to his favorite lunch place (Cafe Rio) and a gift card to his favorite clothing store, and a gift card to buy stuff for his new favorite gaget, a PSP. Lastly, his favorite dinner of potatoe casserole, fruit salad, texas toast and caramel apple pie.

Lincoln bringing him his Dew.

Sharing his snacks, what a gracious King!

My Dad's the Greates Dad...

This my dad, here is working on one of his most favorite hobbies, which is fishing. I love my dad because he (and my mom) are so generous and giving. He came from a hard background and had a difficult childhood but you would never know it because he's always so happy and never complains. He is the best dad ever, like when my cars have broken down, so many of times, he always came to my rescue. He has helped us with our yard (which honestly is a crappy job) and he always worked hard to provide for his family, we never went without. I also can say I don't have any memories of him ever raising his voice at us. In a few years he will retire from IBM and live out his dream of fishing everyday!! Love you dad

Last weeks fun

I know, another boring title. So it was my baby brother Jeremy and my Newphew Collins' birthdays on the 8th. So we went up to Logan (where he and his wife Vanessa live) to wish him a happy birthday (yeah, that how we roll). My gracious parents of course took us out to eat at this yummy restaurant. I just have say that Logan has the best restaurants! Their food is soo good and home cooked, and cheap. This one was called that Copper Creek Mill (I think) but I also love the Blue Bird (where Nessa works). So because we love food around here, this is what I had. The Chicken Oscar, a breast of chicken with crab (holla!) and smothered in Mozerella. mmmm. They also make a mean pasta I hear. And don't forget their salad bar! So fresh! Well enough about the food. Here are some pics... Crazy Jeremy who is 24! what?! I hope he likes the Snuggie I got him. "It's the Blanket with Sleeves! Perfect for women and men!"
Collin who is 5! boo-ya!

His mommy, my gorgeous sis Ali.

Lincoln and Carter, banished to the end of the table because they're soo messy and crazy!

Lincoln and Me.

Grams and Papa with the boys.
Of course you noticed, no husbands, they were working. And Alisa and Vanessa were there but I forgot to get a picture, sorry girls, I was too focused on the kids.
I hope you boys had a fun birthday. I love you Jeremy because you're crazy like me and you make me laugh. And I love you Collin because you were the first to make me an Auntie, and you'll always hold a special place in my heart.

The Last Weeks of May

So, I've been a slacker on posting and reading other's blogs, sorry! I'll catch up! We've been really busy with projects, mostly yard. My dad and Jordan took on the task of tearing down and putting back up the retaining wall in our backyard, and I think it became a bigger project than planned, they're still working on it. We did sand our deck and restain it, spread gravel, plant bushes, and clean out window wells. I'm also trying to get our flower bed looking nice and kept alive, harder than I thought. To my surprise the flower from Walmart are thriving but the ones from Lowes are horrible and are dead, I'm taking them back, we'll try again. I'll get some pics up when all is acclompished!

Here are some of the other highlights from the weeks.....
Memorial Weekend. We went to my parents and stayed the night and went to their Wards annual Pancake Breakfast. It was yummy. I remember a time when getting up at 8 am on a holiday was unheard of.....oh the good ol'days. We later went to lunch at Tucanos, so ReDiCuLoUsLy good! and topped it off with the Wolverine Movie, which was probably good but I couldn't tell since we were in the second to front row. P.S. that's why Jordan and I are self proclaimed "theatre snobs" and will not go to any theatre other then Megaplexs' Lincoln and Collin enjoying their pancakes.

Lincoln checking to make sure he's all clear for the play, now tuck the ball in a run! (I have no idea what I'm talking about)

Lincoln about to hike the ball. ( theses were all candid pics that just turned out looking this way!)

Lincoln spent the morning dancing on this well cover because it made noise when it bounced up and down. Can I get one at my house?

My new project......... wait and see!

So I'm big into popcorn right now. The gourmet kind you make yourself. Thanks to my sister in law Alisa who gave me this for my birthday, and also thanks to my old highschool friend who has a great cooking blog hotoffthegarlicpress.blogspot.com for the receipt. Check out her blog, it's world famous! She was just on the Good Things Utah tv show!

The Sticky Gooey, White Chocolate popcorn.hmmmm! so addicting!

Also, I've been on this new receipt, summer cooking kick! This is a fruit salad that is sooo easy and sooo good. Jordan isn't really a fruit salad guy so I thought Lincoln and I would end up eattng it all, but it was gone in 24 hours and I think I have maybe 5 bites. If there is enough interest I'll post it for everyone.
