So, here is my flower bed. It has been taken over by the pumpkins that I planted, which I kind of did on purpose because besides the daisys and blueberry muffin bush in the back, most of the flowers are annuals so they'll die and in the fall I'll have a ton of cute pumpkins everywhere because I love FALL, Pumpkins and Halloween! Another funny thing, I have really no idea where all the purple patunias came from....I planed 5 little bushes that I thought all died and so I pulled them up, and a month later... flower galoor! My daisy aren't as sad as they look, there is rhyme and reason, and next year hopefully we can see it. I should have taken picture before the pumpkins invaded that land, but I'm excited they already are flowering! I love Pumpkins!

Pioneers on Parades
Well, I'm useing our "2nd" computer to do this because something is wrong with the other one (I think the keyboard needs batteries because it's cordless but Jordan of course thinks it's something more complicated, we'll see who right) So I don't have new pictures yet but soon because I have them ready to go, they're just on the other computer.
So what have I been up too. Well today being the 24, Pioneer Day,I tried to watch the parade. I got up at 7:30 (not by choice) and played with Lincoln waiting for it to start at 9. But then I started to get bored at about 8:58 (no attention span, I inheritted from my son) and left the room and ended up never watching it. I only really wanted to watch it because I use to work for Modern Display years ago and from Jan-July it's float season there. They do about half the floats in the parade. So I learned a lot about making floats and I even got to be in one in a parade too. But I'll never do that again. It was on the KFC float and the whole time people kept yelling "hey, throw me some popcorn chicken!" By the end I wish I had bucket full of just bones I could lob at the audience. So after missing the parade I figured my day would be uneventful but mom called and wanted to go to Taipan and then to lunch/dinner (I'm not sure what it's called if you skip lunch but eat an early dinner). My most favorite thing of the day would have to be when we were at Taipan looking at the baby section and we over a man saying to wife as they walk by "Do you realize that our kids don't even care if there is anything on their walls?" I can just imagine the rest of that conversation...the wife saying "Yeah, but I care." Oh, the whining of husbands as they shop with their wives.
I've been trying to reread the Twlight series again so they can be fresh in my mind when the new one comes out and I'm really annoyed because since the movie trailer has come out the Edward and Bella in my mind has now be replaced with Cedric Diggory and some random girl. and it's just not the same! I just can't seem to get into them. So anyway, I stopped, and started reading "Wurthering Heights" because I always wanted to. Maybe i'll want to read Twlight after the last one comes out. Who knows. Well, my July has actually been really full and busy so I'll do a month overview at the end. Later.

What a day......
So I'm getting really tired of showing my house to "potental" buyers, and here's why. I get a phone call from our agent 2 hours before someone wants to come through our house. Except they don't give the exact time, they give a time frame and it's usually 2-3 hours. So today they called at 11:15 and said that someone wanted to come between 1:15-3:15. Which that alone sucks because that is around Lincoln's nap. So I spend the 2 hours trying to clean because I have a baby that needs to be in the same room with me at all times and holding my legs, for some reason. Then at 1:15 we wait. and wait. and wait. 2:15 nothing. Now I have a very tired baby who I won't let out his room because I just cleaned the whole house and at any moment they might show up. But..they don't so I let him sleep. He wakes up and we wait. and wait. (It's like that pioneer children song "sang as they walked and walked and walked and walked. Only we WEREN'T SINGING) Finally at 3:10 I called my realtor and ask what's going on. "Oh," she says. " I just had someone call and cancel because they need a house with an R.V. pad, but thanks for calling." Hm. shouldn't I be the one that recieved the call about the cancellation and be thanking you? So now I'm really annoyed. I spent 4 hours cleaning and waiting, my whole day basically shot. And how could they not have known we didn't have an R.V. pad, that's why we post pictures, so you can see I DON'T HAVE AN R.V. PAD, DON'T BOTHER ME! Do they not know that we have lives? We don't just sit around waiting for some moron to make an appointment and then cancel it.
On a lighter note, Lincoln was playing in his room and he got quite so I went to find him and he had stealthly moved into the bathroom. He had found the T.P., and not only did he find it, he also found that it's really fun to bat it as hard as you can and watch the whole thing unroll at your feet. It was funny and I wanted to take a picture but...... how could I when at any moment a realtor was going to show up. So I just had to quickly roll it up and put it in the closet. Maybe next time, i'm sure he'll do it again, he's always into mischief!
