Keep Your Fingers Crossed!

Well, we sold our house (again). At least we're under contract. Let's hope it goes through this time because I'll be really bummed if what happened last time, happens again. For those who don't know, last spring we "sold" our house. After all inspections and appraisals, 3 days to close we found out that the bank had missed something in their "prequalification" and denied the buyer the loan. What a bummer, we had just packed up almost everything! So this time I'm not counting on anything! I don't even want to pack until we close, which I know is impossible, but I wish. This time around we have a great realtor and we've heard good things about the buyer so fingers crossed!
Our plans are to move in with my parents for about 4 months, during which Jordan will go to school full time, work part time and I'll be working more too. My parents are in the processes of buying a retirement home in Cedar City. So if that goes through, Jordan and I will move there in December and live there while Jordan finishes school. He doesn't have much left on his Bachelors in Accounting, hopefully next time this year he'll be all done! After that, on to a masters program, probably out of state. Oh and while all that is going on we hope to have another kid too. So that's our 2-3 year plan, it's based solely on us selling this house, so pray for us!

It's What Fun Is...

We went to Lagoon this week with my mom's family, we've gone every year since I can remember, and I love the tradition of riding rides and eating dippin' dots and lemon slushies! We took Lincoln for his first time. This is the only picture I got because we were having to much fun and it was annoying to try to keep my camera out and ready, you may want to click on it to get the full effect of his face. It's a good picture of his first ride with his cousin Collin. He really loved playing with Collin there and I think having another kid around made it more fun for him (mom and dad are so boring). Collin is so cute, when we got there he came up to Lincoln and said "Hey buddy how you doin'?" He asked him that a few times and then turned to me and said "Is he doing ok?" and I told him he was.

Independence Day!

We had a good holiday. We went to Vernal UT, were Jordan's mom lives. We got up sooo early at 9:00 am to go to the 10am parade! Wierd right? Who has a parade at 10am? Its was a little late and little to hot. We waited around for it to start, and at about 10:20 am the first police car drove by and that was so thrilling we decided to leave. Especially Lincoln who was having some kind of an alergic reaction to something. Since we were there for him and he was hating it, it was time to go. We went home, ate brunch and all took naps. It was pretty nice actually. This was the most exciting thing, the jets that flew by. Can't you tell how exciting?

Later, Lincoln enjoyed the hammock, which note to all mom's acts as great net to keep kids around. We had a nice and yummy BBQ in Jordan's Aunt Cheya's backyard. Did you know I also have a cousin named Cheya? Believe or not she was named after Jordan's Aunt Cheya who knew my Aunt Carol and Uncle Don when they lived in the California in the 70's. Well, who would have thought that like 30 years later their niece and nephew would get married! (that's me and Jordan if you're lost). Small world, and we didn't even know anything about them knowing eachother until Jordan met my cousin Cheya for the first time at Thanksgiving! Weird!
The best part would have to be Lincoln's reactions to the fireworks that night. Grandma Neen got some good candid shots!

I think we're both a little stunned here at what just happened.
